Adelaide Branch Activities

Organised Rides

Sunday rides
These happen fortnightly and depart from one of three locations as per the Rides Calendar. Rides head out of the suburbs and may include demanding hills roads and open country roads. Riders should have skill levels appropriate for riding safely and comfortably with the group.
Arrive by 9:15am for 9:30 departure.
From start to morning tea at 11:00, approx. 100km.
Morning tea to lunch at 1:00, approx. 100km. 'Official' ride ends there.
Note: Members and partners only, on club rides please. Of course if you are checking us out with a view to maybe joining the club, then come along by all means.

Midweek rides
Every Wednesday, leaving at 10.30am from the Feathers Hotel on the 1st, 2nd & 5th Wednesday. 3rd and 4th Wednesday from Top O' Taps (Victoria Hotel South Rd).

Occasional "long weekend" distance rides with accommodation varying from cabins to camping (your choice).

The rides are well organised by the ride leader who arranges for a tailend Charlie at the end of the group, just in case there are any problems. There are corner marshalls at each turn off so that nobody gets lost. Although we still do occasionally get people who manage to take a more scenic route than the rest of us.

The rides calendar shows all departure times and destinations etc.
